(Senior) Communications Officer

The Nordic Investment Bank is seeking a (Senior) Communications Officer for the Bank's headquarters in Helsinki. The Officer’s main task will be to communicate with the Bank's key target groups, focusing on Scandinavian countries, and to produce material for NIB's communication channels. This includes co-ordination of and responsibility for the content of NIB’s Annual Report and customer magazine.

The daily work includes co-ordination and production of articles, press releases and other content for NIB's media and public relations. The Bank's corporate website, customer magazine, annual and interim reports, and other external information materials about the Bank comprise important working areas for the position holder.

The candidate should have an advanced university degree in PR/Communications, Journalism, Business/Economics or a proven ability to perform the tasks required in the position. Working experience in the financial sector or in another international organization would be an asset.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in English, are essential. A fluent command of at least one Scandinavian language is a requirement and knowledge of at least one of the other member countries' languages would be seen as an advantage.  Competence in online tools/social media and sustainability reporting would also be an asset.
